Reviewing 2018-2019 Schedule

Here is the replay from the livestream yesterday (6/21). There was a bit of a snafu with the source I used to go over the schedule so I cut out 11 minutes. At the start, you will get to hear from the four winners from the NHL Awards show on Wednesday June 20th. Get your calendar ready! FYI, draft starts 6/22 but our first pick is not until round 2 on Saturday #61 and we have a total of seven picks. Also free agency kicks in July 1st. I will be back sometime after free agency settles to review our draft picks and decisions made by our GM of the year. Until then, thanks for listening!

Also here is the preseason schedule courtesy of KTNV

The Golden Knights released their preseason schedule, including the first game on Sunday, Sept. 16, against the Arizona Coyotes at 5 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena.

Stanley Cup Final. Disappointing Ending. Helluva Season.

I’ve been sports fan for 46 years. I’ve had moments of joy but too many moments of heartbreak. I wanted this as much as you did Golden Knights fans. But it gets expensive to have your heart put back in these days. I will let this podcast do the rest of the talking. This will be the final episode until October 2018. See you then. Please connect with me on social media. @thekrazywabbit Thanks!

Stanley Cup Final. Vegas Failed To Capitalize. Series Is Effectively Over.

What was the title of my last podcast? This is not meant as an I told you so. It’s how I look at sports. The eyeball test. This type of podcast may not still well with you. Giving a eulogy before the series is officially over but effectively it is. I recorded this at the beginning of the second down 3-0 and as I write this, it’s now 4-0 Caps. I find it highly unlikely that Vegas finds a way to win three. I hope I am wrong and eat crow but they have no answers for the Capitals and what ever Vegas pun you want to you, the house advantage finally ran out of luck. I will do one more podcast and hopefully a second and a third if we can figure a way to make this go seven. You will hear more in this podcast why the tone I’ve taken. I may lose listeners. But I will never lose a hockey team as a fan. Because I will share with you some positives and why we have a lot to be proud of with this team. Go Knights Go

Stanley Cup Final. It All Comes Down To Game 4.

Belief does not score goals. At some point you have to call it like you see it. What I call the eyeball test. I actually am writing these shownotes with 3 minutes left in the 2nd. The game is a wrap. 2-0 lead by the Caps and about to take a 2-1 lead. You will find out more in this episode. If you chose to listen. Or you can not play. Just like the Golden Knights did not tonight. Critical game on Monday. Could decide the Final.

Stanley Cup Final. Missed Opportunities. Home Ice Lost

As I state in the podcast, no sense in me nitpicking every play or period. The one good thing this team does is bounce back. Tonight was not good 60 minutes of hockey for the Golden Knights. Welcome to playoff hockey. No one wins every game. Therefore, put this one behind us and get ready for Saturday. The Final did not end today. Set back and now it’s time to bounce back. Thanks for stopping by!

Stanley Cup Final. One Down. Three To Go.

It still is hard to believe. We are here. Heavyweight battle in Vegas. Nothing new if you watched boxing in the past. But to see it on ice in the desert. For those that have followed this team all season, this is nothing new in terms of performance. I am proud of this team repping big time tonight on the national stage. But there is still work to be done. Not done yet!

Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 3- WE’RE GOING TO THE FINALS!!!

Can you believe it???? What started as a rumor back in 2014 of having a pro hockey team to where we are now is unreal. Just as Turk (Coach Gallant) is out of words describing his teams play, I am running out of words to type here. So I will let this podcast do the talking. Please stay tuned at the end for post game pressers including Turk, Reaves, McPhee, Schmidt, Engelland, Karlsson, and Marchy. We’re going to the finals baby!

Thank you to News World for providing the Turk presser.

Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 3- One Step Closer

Enjoy the moment tonight. A hard fought and despite allowing four power plays, Vegas battled hard all night. Getting the first goal and answering or defending everything the Jets threw at them. We know what is at stake Sunday. Play our game and it will be more of the same. Presser includes Coach, Marchy, Fleury, Smith, Karlsson and Neal. Go Knights Go!
